2006 Fall Board of Governors Meeting
The Fall board of governors meeting was held at the Rutgers University on September 23. At the meeting Karl Perusich was elected President for 2007, Janet Rochester Vice-President, Karl Stephan Treasurer and Bradley Kjell Secretary. SSIT Conferences
ISTAS 2007
The 2007 International Symposium on Technology and Society will be held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, NV on June 1-2, 2007. ISTAS 2009/2010
SSIT solicits applications for hosting ISTAS'09 and '10. If you are interested in hosting the International Symposium on Technology and Society in June 2009 or beyond, please contact Clint Andrews at c.j.andrews@ieee.org. We prefer that the 2009 conference site be in North America, but there is no geographic preference for the 2010 site.
